What's For Dinner?

So the past few days have been pretty rough around here for everyone except Emma! Mom, dad and I all got a stomach bug on Monday night and it got even rougher from there. Dad was home on Tuesday and Wednesday and couldn't even get out of bed. They took me to the doctors yesterday since I still wasn't feeling all that great. But they had some yummy juice boxes there and after half of one, I felt soo much better! I was still feeling a little yucky this morning, but by nighttime I was feeling better and I could only think of one thing: pizza! It was so hard just sitting there, waiting for it to cook but it was worth it. My appetite totally came back and I ate a ton of pizza and ice cream for dessert. So glad everyone is finally feeling better!!

Yet Another Busy Weekend!

I don't know about mom, but I sure am beat from this weekend! Mom took me to my friend Max's house on Friday for a great playdate. We played with his new train set and had some yummy bagels for snacks. After an awesome nap, we went out to dinner with dad for delicious stir fry. On Saturday, we had music class and then a surprise birthday party for my friend Tyler's mom. It was so much fun since our other friends Juliana, Max and Lydon were there, too! This morning, my friends Spencer, Charlotte and Clive came over for a playdate and pizza party lunch. I loved showing off my new toys and playing with everyone. But boy do these busy weekends make me exhausted! Of course mom didn't take any photos this weekend, so I have to post some videos taken during our trip to Michigan at Christmas. Enjoy!

Holy Snow Day!

Well, we survived the big storm today! The news said we got about 18 inches of snow today but it sure does seem like a lot more than that. The snow was all the way up to my waist! I was able to crawl on top of the snow and bend down and grab a bite whenever I wanted. Then mom brought out the cool new sled we bought yesterday. She pulled me all around the backyard and I couldn't get enough! Dad dug out the back porch so Emma has a space to go to the bathroom. And all that piled up snow made for a great little sledding hill for me! I can't wait to play out in the snow again tomorrow!

Getting Ready For A Blizzard

Mom says that we're getting something called a "blizzard" tomorrow (she said it's definitely not like the kind we got at Dairy Queen this summer, bummer). From what I've heard, it sounds like we're going to get a ton of snow and I cannot wait!! We went out today and got a new sled, new coloring book and snacks so we are all set to be snowed in. Mom even got me some yummy movie theatre popcorn on Sunday and I'm still working my way through the bag. Soo good!!

To keep busy, mom broke out the alligator mittens that grandma Joyce made for us for Christmas presents. They are soo much fun to play with! And they sure are great for chomping on dad's toes and bum! Sounds like I'm really going to be busy tomorrow!

Merry Christmas!

Emma and I can't wait for Christmas! We really can't wait to be back in Michigan with our extended family! I can't wait to eat yummy food, open lots of presents and take lots of long naps. Mom says that what a Christmas vacation is all about! Mostly, I can't wait to see if Santa is really real. I've seen him a couple of times and yes, he is scary. But mom says he is really nice and is a really lovable kind of guy. I just hope he knows what a great guy I am and how good I've been this year! Oh and Santa, Emma's been really good this year, too!!

Getting Ready For The Presents!

I am getting so excited for our trip to Michigan this weekend! Dad keeps talking about presents and Santa and I can't wait to see what all the hype is about! But thanks to aunt Karrie, the gift getting started early! She sent me a cool box in the mail and inside was this awesome hard hat and something else that she wouldn't let me see (she says I have to wait until Christmas, blah!). Mom says that this hat is just like the kind that uncle Matt wears so that made it even cooler! I can't wait to compare hats with him when I see him in a few days!

Hanging with My Homey

My homey, Max, and I just love hanging out together. We play cars, talk about chicks (mostly our moms), eat snacks (Goldfish are my fav) and get our drink on (mostly milk). It's so good to have friends with the same interests as you. Max's mom was busy this morning, so Max got to go to class with me. I introduced him to my friends and showed him all the cool toys we play with. I'm sure glad mom makes sure that I get time to play with Max!
