Museum Fun!

Have you ever been to a children's museum? No?? You're totally missing out!! I went to a really cool one last week with my good friend Juliana. They had soo much stuff to do, you wouldn't believe it! There was a dinosaur room with tons of dinosaurs, a train table and a booth where you could buy and sell tickets, a kitchen with tons of food to make and serve (it was plastic food, but once you get past that it is really fun), a boat with a bucket for catching crabs and a really big fire truck. The best part was the backstage area with a lighted mirror and tons of face paints. Juliana and I worked out really hard to make ourselves look totally cool, just like the other big kids that were there. I definitely think purple is my color. What do you think?

Art Is So Cool

Let me tell you, I love art!! Expecially painting, the messier the better! Mom has me enrolled in a cool art class on Mondays and we get to make the coolest things. This week, we got to use different color paints to see what would happen when they are mixed together. Did you know that when you mix red and blue together you get purple? And when you add in white, you get a lighter purple? It was the coolest thing ever! And after we cleaned up our messes, we got to eat some delicious blackberries and raspberries. Needless to say, I was exhausted afterwards. Thankfully, mom let me kick back and relax with some Curious George when we got home. Nothing like hanging out on the couch with your favorite movie after a hard day creating masterpieces.

Weekend Fun!

We had soo much fun this weekend in the nice weather! Mom and I went to a sheep shearing festival on Saturday with my friends Spencer, Charlotte, Lexi and Ella. There was a ton of yummy food, lots of musicians to watch, activities galore for kids and tons of animals to look at! There were llamas, alpacas, ponies, horses, chickens and, of course, sheep! The sheep had a ton of fur on them and I guess it was just too long because the people working there kept giving them haircuts. Kind of reminded me of dad giving me haircuts when I'm sitting in the bath, squirming around.

On Sunday, we went to my friend Clive's 1st birthday party. There was a yummy Curious George birthday cake, a cool lady who made me a balloon car, and tons of breakfast treats. Plus we got to wear our pajamas, so much fun! I was so glad that we got to do such fun things like this, considering the week I've had. I'm getting what mom calls a second year molar and boy does it hurt. It even gave me a fever for about 5 days and totally screwed up my sleeping. But it seems like I'm on the mend and I can even eat real food again, woo hoo!!!

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Easter Sunday! Mine has been soo much fun so far! The Easter Bunny brought me a cool monkey basket filled with cool things like Thomas sunglasses, a Cars t-shirt, a chocolate bunny and a candy-filled egg. Plus there were a ton of stickers that I promptly put all over my face, always good for a laugh. After a much deserved nap, I think we're going to head outside and see if the Easter Bunny left anything outside for me. Fingers crossed that there is more chocolate for me!!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Matt!

Happy birthday to my cool uncle Matt! I helped mom make this cool sign for him, though I could have done without the hat. Mom doesn't realize it, but I'm getting way too big for this hat! Anyway, I hope he has a great birthday and that it is capped off with a Red Wings victory tonight! Go Wings!!!

April Fool!

We have been having a great April so far, how about you? I'm really getting into stickers and love putting them anywhere I can! Check out my new favorite place to put stickers! I've also been hanging out with friends, like my good friend Juliana. This week, we went to the Museum of Science together and discovered so many cool things! We saw dinosaur skeletons, a giant green frog, and a waterfall thing (I can't remember what it is called and neither can mom). They also had a ton of hands-on exhibits so we could really get our hands dirty! We also shared a yummy lunch while looking at boats on the Charles River. I wouldn't call it a date, but we did hug at the end. Hope she calls me! :)

Spring Fever!

It seems like every few days, we have some amazing spring weather. It's warm, sunny and just perfect for playing outside. I love my new swing set and all the cool pine cones we have in our backyard. And to make today's great day even better, mom whipped out this cool new bubble maker and let me tell you, I am loving it!!! It spits out soo many bubbles that I just can't keep up with it! I can't wait to show it off to my friends this weekend! Hopefully the weather holds up since mom is planning a big Easter Egg Hunt here on Sunday. Fingers crossed for sun!
