Updates On Us

Well we are almost to Christmas and I can't wait!!  To help get us in the spirit, mom took us to see Santa today.  What a great gut he is!  He even gave me candy and a coloring book at the end!
Now you're probably wondering what's up with Baby Sawyer. Let me tell you, he's been busy! He's rolling around like crazy and it seems like he's always trying to eat my cars. Mom says he started getting his first tooth last Wednesday so maybe he can start eating real food like me. Speaking of food, mom and dad have him eating oatmeal these days and they started him on pureed foods last weekend. Mom says peas are his favorite so far, but he's also tried bananas, avocado and carrots. He must really like food since he's already 16 pounds.  And thankfully we are finally both pink eye free. That was a long 2 weeks for all of us!

We are now getting ready for our big trip back to MI for the holidays. Mom says it's a really long car ride but she borrowed a portable DVD player from my friend Juliana so hopefully that will keep me busy.  I just can't wait to see all of our family soon.  Safe travels to everyone and make sure there are some cookies waiting for me when we get there!!

Sawyer Sure Is Busy

Boy, let me tell you, Sawyer is a very busy little guy. I even have a hard time keeping up with him and I have a ton of energy! He laughs, he shrieks, and his newest trick is rolling. He can roll onto his stomach and then he can roll right over onto his back, he is so talented. Guess I'll have to come up with some new tricks to teach him since he is such a quick study!

Where Did Sawyer Go?

Baby Sawyer has become quite a magician.  His best trick?  He can make himself disappear!  I don't know where he goes, but it sure is a fun trick!  Maybe he'll teach me how he does it someday.

Yard Work Is Hard

Mom has been talking about raking leaves for a while and she made it sound like so much fun.  So I made her buy me a rake so I could help out.  I mean, who wouldn't want to help rake leaves for the first time?  But guess what, raking is really hard!  I took on a small section under my slide and I was still exhausted within a few minutes.  Mom says jumping in piles of leaves is the best part about fall.  Maybe her and dad will rake a huge pile for me since I don't think I could do it by myself.

By the way, I've also taken up photography.  Check out 2 of my latest photos!

Pictures of Sawyer

I hate that I have to keep reminding mom and dad to take photos of Sawyer.  They have so many pictures of me when I was little, but poor Sawyer hardly has any.  Good thing he has me for a big brother, I'll always look out for him!

I Love Mini Golf!

Today, mom and dad took me to play mini golf.  If you've never played before, I highly recommend it!  After dad taught me the rules, I took my putter and gave it my best shot.  As you can see by these photos, I have excellent form and I think I'm a natural.  Mom didn't keep score since she says we're all winners, but I'm pretty sure I won.  Afterwards, we had some yummy ice cream even though we hadn't had dinner yet.  I loved the orange sherbet and I was feeling so generous, I even let dad finish the cone for me.

Who Doesn't Love A Good Parade?

Mom took me and Sawyer to our first parade last week and it was such a fun time!!!  There were police cars, fire trucks, a marching band and lots of people marching.  But the best part were the Girl Scouts.  Not because I totally dig an older woman, but because they threw a ton of candy at us!  If all parades have candy throwing, I'm there!  We went with our friends Spencer, Charlotte, Clive and Juliana and everyone had a great time.  Well, Sawyer was kind of scared by the fire trucks but he stopped crying once mom picked him up.  Afterwards we went to the fire house and climbed on one of the trucks and hung out with a few firefighters.  Talk about a fun day!
