First Day at the Beach

Today it was about 90 degrees here so that meant only one thing: going to the beach. And it turns out I love the beach! Mom, Emma, aunt Karrie, grandma Joyce and I went to Rexhame Beach in Marshfield today and it was great! I couldn't go swimming because mom said the water was too cold (she said it felt like ice water which I think is pretty cold). It was kind of windy, too, so mom kept me in my sling. I can't really go in the sun yet either or I'll burn so the sling was probably a good way to go. Emma loved it there, she kept dipping her paws in the ocean and was even followed by a little boy who wanted to take her home. Thankfully his dad came and got him because she needs to go home with me! When we got home, she had a doggie frozen yogurt to cool down and then crashed. Guess it's good to be a pug.

I have to go to the doctors tomorrow which I'm not looking forward to. But I am definitely developing quickly. I am getting pretty good at holding my head up and I can follow people with my eyes and head as they walk by me. I especially like following dad around as he walks by. I'm starting to smile a little bit more and not just when I have gas. My hands and arms are still pretty crazy though. I keep punching mom in the face when she feeds me but she knows I don't mean it. Tonight, we're going to dinner to get grandma Joyce something called "fried clams". Don't know if I'll ever like that since mom says they're kind of gross. But I can't wait to try them someday!
