First Picnic

Yesterday I got to attend my first picnic and it was the best! It was sunny and in the 70s and just perfect. Mom, grandma Joyce, aunt Karrie and I went to Emma's favorite park and walked on the trails first since Emma was dying to run around a bit. Then we set out our blanket near a field of daffodils and ate some yummy sandwiches that mom made. Emma even got to have a Flossie so everyone looked happy. Me, I had some delicious formula and lounged in the shade. I guess my skin is too sensitive to sit out in the sun like my aunt Karrie does, but it sure was nice being outside! Here's a picture of me enjoying our day with my grandma Joyce. I can tell she really loves me, but I wish she didn't make me wear that hat. She said I would be too cold without it, so I guess it was nice that she's already looking our for me. Thanks, grandma!

Today, we're all going to Boston to walk around a bit and see the sites. Dad gets to go, too, but I think Emma is staying home since it's in the 80s today and mom says that's a bit too hot for her. But hopefully we can bring her back something yummy, I know she would appreciate that. I think tomorrow we may go to a small pug meet-up at a beach and then maybe up to Rockport for something called lobster. I don't know what that is, but mom and dad say it is very tasty.
