3 Teeth??

I just love to keep my mom and dad on their toes! On Friday night, mom discovered that one of my top teeth broke through my gums. I feel soo cool to have 3 teeth now and I just love grinding them together (maybe because it drives my mom crazy).

We all celebrated by going to South Beach and enjoying the weather. That's where dad took these cool photos of me "flying". Emma also had fun and even played around with 2 large dogs in the water. She loved it so much, dad had to physically bring her back since she kept going back! Naughty Emma!

Doctors Visit

Today was my 6-month check-up at the doctors. The doctor says I am now 27.75 inches long (88th percentile) and 16lbs 3oz (25th percentile). She also said I looked very healthy and she was impressed by my crawling and sitting abilities (always nice when you can impress the ladies). I hated the shots, but I did enjoy playing with the paper on the table. Tonight, we're heading to the Vineyard for the weekend. Hopefully it's not too chilly this weekend!

6 Months and Growing Strong

On Monday, I officially turned 6 months old! Mom says I'm such a grown up and getting bigger every day. I go for my 6 month check up at the doctors tomorrow and I can't wait to see how big I am!

We've had a busy week here. Mom and I went to the aquarium last Friday. We had so much fun that I feel asleep half way through (guess I needed to recharge my battery).

Then we went to the Vineyard for the weekend and spent some time at the beach (so fun). On Wednesday, we had a new class start with some of my old friends and then we went to lunch. Today, I went on my first date with Charlotte. Well, not really a date since her mom and my mom were there and she's only 1.5 months. But someday we'll go on a real date, she's dreamy! On top of everything else, I've been busy learning how to crawl. So exhausting being 6 months old!!

Just Me and My Emma

I just adore my Emma. She is really the most beautiful and fabulous dog in the whole world! Just look at these pictures. Isn't she dreamy? She tells the most wonderful stories and she just makes me laugh and laugh. I'm so glad I have such an amazing best friend!!!

Growing Up is Fun

Mom is so worried that I'm growing up too quickly, but it's so much fun! I get to wear cool clothes and hang out with Emma. I also get to roll around on my belly and practice getting around. This is the part that really has mom worried. Check out the video and see if you think I'm close to crawling!

Down on the Farm

Yesterday, mom and I went to the Natick Organic Farm with my friends Max, Julia and Tyler. It was kind of chilly out, but that didn't stop us from exploring and checking out the animals. We saw huge rabbits, lots of chickens, a whole bunch of turkeys, 3 chubby pigs, a goat and a big cow named Gus. It was so cool since you could go right up to the fence and see the animals. Boy was Gus noisy! I think the pigs were my favorite. Little known fact, the 3 pigs at the farm eat bagels from Panera. Guess everyone likes bagels. The farm also had a produce stand where mom and her friends discovered the most delicious fruit: husk cherries.
Afterwards, we all went back to our house and the moms had lunch while a couple of us took a nap or had a snack. Ava, Lydon and Juliana also showed up so we had a full house. I got to show off my cool toys and we had a blast playing together. Emma even got in on the action. Hanging with friends is soo much fun!

Guess What I can Do!

Mom and I have been practicing a ton and it's starting to pay off: I can almost sit up by myself! I can sit up for about 10 seconds and then I fall over. I hate falling over. Mom usually catches me but when she misses (like when she's taking my picture), it makes me so sad. I'm so lucky that I have Emma to cheer me up when that happens!! Then she needs to take a nap since helping me stop crying can be exhausting...

Labor Day Fun

Mom, dad, Emma and I went to the Vineyard for a long weekend to celebrate Labor Day (mom says it's a day to celebrate American workers, but I think it was great that dad got an extra day off to spend with us). We went down there on Friday afternoon and we just made it for lobster rolls. We spent the weekend going to the beach, taking walks and eating way too much! We went home Tuesday night and I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep (so is Emma). Here are some photos of us having fun over the weekend. Hope everyone else had a great weekend, too!

More Zoo Fun!

Today, mom and I went to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston with my friends Juliana, Max, Lydon and Tyler (and of course their moms). We were really oping to visit the butterfly house since I loved the one in Detroit soo much. But the exhibit was closed for some reason which was a bummer. But the gorillas and giraffes were awesome! They came right up to the fence and I could really see them. We walked all around the zoo and took a little break right next to the kangaroos. They were really funny to watch hopping around, considering how lazy the kangaroos were at the Detroit Zoo. Speaking of lazy, Max and I were exhausted by the time we got to the zebras. Guess we just had too much fun with our mommas and friends!!
