Keeping Busy!

Mom sure is doing all she can to keep me busy! Swim class was a total blast. We learned how to kick and splash and jump into the pool. Well, I mom actually just counted down and then lifted me into the pool but it totally counts! Mom and I also started at the YMCA today. It gives mom a chance to work out and I get to play in the kids room with my friends Quinn and Molly. They also have a pool with open swim times so I can practice my back stroke. Tomorrow, I'm starting my new music class with mom. She says there will be singing and possibly some dancing which really sounds fun. Sprinkle in some lunches with friends and playgroups here and there and it makes for a very full week. Good thing I still have some time to goof off around the house and help keep the carpet mowed with the lawnmower that grandma Joyce made me. I know dad doesn't agree, but mowing sure is fun!

Finally Feeling Better

Last week I came down with a double ear infection, runny nose and a croupy cough. It's been quite a rough week, but I'm definitely feeling better. So now I'm back to posting on my blog!

Tomorrow, I start swimming lessons with mom. She wants me to be comfortable in the water so I can enjoy the ocean this summer. A couple of my friends are taking the class with me so it should be a lot of fun. Just hope I'm not too pale in my suit tomorrow! To get ready for my swim class, I've been working out hard. Thanks to mom, I found that dancing is a great workout. I think all my hard work is going to pay off big time!

I've also been working hard to keep the squirrels out of my bird feeder. I figure it gives Emma a break and I just love watching them run away when I pound on the glass. They are hilarious to watch!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Matt!

I couldn't believe it when mom told me my uncle Matt is 30 today. It makes me sad that he's getting older, but thankfully he doesn't look a day over 27. Happy birthday!!

So mom finally let me back on the computer today. I felt really bad about ruining the last one but to be honest it was time. The old laptop wouldn't even stay open and dad always complained about how slow it was. I think I did them a huge favor by dumping that coffee on the old laptop, but did I get a thank you? Noooo. Someday they'll appreciate my destruction abilities!

Message From Mom

Cooper's mom here. I apologize for the lack of postings this week. Cooper dumped a cup of coffee on our laptop on Sunday morning so we've been without a computer. Coop and I went out yesterday and bought a shiny new one, but I still need to upload the camera software so he can post photos and videos again. The good news is that Cooper has a great new toy: a dead laptop. Enjoy your Friday!!

Beach Day!!

Today it was 90 degrees and sunny here. Mom said that can only mean one thing: beach day!! So I emailed my friends Lydon, Tyler and Juliana and we all hit the local beach with our moms. We hung out and had snacks, caught up with each other, and played in the sand. Mom even let me splash my toes around in the water. We had a ton of cool beach toys to play with and I loved digging in the sand with my shovel. And I discovered how delicious sand can be. Mom made me stop after a couple of times and that was probably for the best. I can't wait for summer when we can go the beach all the time!

Eating With Dad Is Fun!

With my new feeding schedule, things have been a little rough. But there is one thing that I will always eat: mac & cheese! I just love squishing the noodles in my fingers and then rubbing them on my head. Plus, mom started putting some stuff in there that makes it really yummy (she says it's kale, spinach, chard and sweet potatoes pureed together, which all sounds gross but it is delicious!!). Dad says I eat too slowly so he devised this new way to feed me. For some reason, he only feeds me like this on bath night...

Happy Easter!

We had such a fun weekend. The weather was just beautiful and we spent a ton of time outside, enjoying the sun and soaking up some delightful Vitamin D. On Saturday, we went to a local farm to see some cool farm animals. There were cows, chickens, goats, sheep and bunnies. Not small, cuddly bunnies. Giant, pink-eyed bunnies. I swear they were bigger than Emma! Needless to say, I was a bit freaked out when one started hopping around too close to the fence. But dad was there to protect me so everything was just fine.

Today, our friends Josh and Christina came over for an Asian Easter dinner. We had so much fun hanging out and it was the first time I've eaten outside on the patio. Christina is having a little boy sometime this month and I can't wait for him to get here! Emma had a good weekend, too. She just loves hanging out on the patio and lying in the sun. Plus, our new couch is so huge and comfortable and Emma loves lounging on it! I've also been practicing my walking skills like crazy! I'm getting really good and I can't wait until I can start running!!
