Merry Christmas!

Emma and I can't wait for Christmas! We really can't wait to be back in Michigan with our extended family! I can't wait to eat yummy food, open lots of presents and take lots of long naps. Mom says that what a Christmas vacation is all about! Mostly, I can't wait to see if Santa is really real. I've seen him a couple of times and yes, he is scary. But mom says he is really nice and is a really lovable kind of guy. I just hope he knows what a great guy I am and how good I've been this year! Oh and Santa, Emma's been really good this year, too!!

Getting Ready For The Presents!

I am getting so excited for our trip to Michigan this weekend! Dad keeps talking about presents and Santa and I can't wait to see what all the hype is about! But thanks to aunt Karrie, the gift getting started early! She sent me a cool box in the mail and inside was this awesome hard hat and something else that she wouldn't let me see (she says I have to wait until Christmas, blah!). Mom says that this hat is just like the kind that uncle Matt wears so that made it even cooler! I can't wait to compare hats with him when I see him in a few days!

Hanging with My Homey

My homey, Max, and I just love hanging out together. We play cars, talk about chicks (mostly our moms), eat snacks (Goldfish are my fav) and get our drink on (mostly milk). It's so good to have friends with the same interests as you. Max's mom was busy this morning, so Max got to go to class with me. I introduced him to my friends and showed him all the cool toys we play with. I'm sure glad mom makes sure that I get time to play with Max!

Yummy Candy

I'm not a big fan of sweets, but after some
trial and error mom found a candy just for me: sour patch kids! I love how sour they are at first and how yummy and chewy they get at the end. Delicious! Mom says uncle Matt loved them when he was little so I guess I'm taking after him. I just can't wait to see him next month so we can eat some sour patch kids together!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had such a great time at Frank and Jodie's house. I ate a ton of turkey and some very yummy squash and apple soup. Jodie's nephews were there and I had such a great time playing trains with them (so fun, but so exhausting)! Mom says it's a day where we give thanks for the little things we have in our lives. After reflecting on this a bit, I decided that I'm thankful for Emma, trucks, milk and mom and dad. We have such a good family, I wouldn't want it any other way. Just thinking about them makes me want to dance!!

An Apple a Day

I've never seen such a BIG apple. Oh my gosh!

House of Leaves

Dad said he hid a toy in this pile of leaves. I hope it's a car!

Big Kid With An Attitude

I definitely like to consider myself a big kid. I don't cry like a baby anymore (except when the world is totally against me and mom doesn't understand me at all!). I can pee in a potty (did this for the first time today, mom and dad were soo proud!). I can wear and pull off a cool hat (just like my dad). And I definitely think I'm big enough for a tattoo. I got my first one on Halloween. Granted, it was only a temporary one but I think it still counts. It's soo cool, check it out!

Happy Halloween!!

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! We had such a busy weekend, I can't wait to crash! On Friday, I had a Halloween party with my friends and we did our annual photo line-up. On Saturday, I went to another friend's house for Halloween party #2. They had the yummiest cake there and we all got to do a scavenger hunt. That night, dad carved the scariest pumpkin and it totally scared me, not that I scare easily.

Today, Emma had her Halloween party and we had so much fun. Dogs in costumes crack me up! And Emma even won a prize for best costume (mom dressed her up as a lamb, she was soo soft and fluffy!). After a long nap, we went to a neighbor's house for Halloween party #3. We had pizza and I got to play with all their cars, so much fun! Even though I was getting kinda sleepy (from all the pizza), I went trick or treating with mom and Emma. I never knew how much fun it is to go to people's houses and steal candy from them! Seriously, they just put the bowl in front of you and let you grab whatever you want! I met up with my neighbor, Trinity, and she was so much fun to trick or treat with (she went as Super Woman). I think Emma had fun, too, but no houses had any treats for her. Good thing we went to her party earlier in the day so she didn't feel too left out of all the treats!

Staying Hydrated

Everyone knows you need to drink lots of fluids in the summer when it's hot outside. But I like to carry that philosophy into other times of the year, with water being my drink of choice. Not only does it taste good, but it is super fun to drink. Check out my favorite way to drink water to stay hydrated!

Yummmy Food

So I'm still not a big eater, but there are a couple of things that I just can't live without! Now don't judge me, but my list includes green beans, ice cream and soba noodles. All three are so much fun to eat and make for a very yummy lunch or dinner. I've never had all three at once, but I don't think it would taste very good.
Don't get me wrong, I do still love cheese (had 2 slices of it today for a snack). But I like a new kind of cheese, the kind that involves having your picture taken. When I want to be goofy, mom or dad acts like they are taking my picture and I smile my hardest and say "cheez!". I've really been practicing my smiling, can't you tell?

Goofing Around

In case you didn't know, I am a total ham. At least that's what mom tells me. I love playing around with shoes and socks, but my new favorite thing is this hat. Now it's not the nicest hat, but it's too big for me which makes it absolutely hilarious! It looks funny on mom, too, but she says it's a little too tight on her head. Guess that means this cool hat is all mine!!!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

October sure is a fun month! The weather is getting cooler, but that just means that I can play outside longer than I can when it's really hot outside. There are tons of cool things to play with outside, too! Lots of dry, crinkly leaves, acorns, sticks and pumpkins! Mom and I went to a pumpkin patch on Thursday with some friends and we had so much fun! They had smaller pumpkins, but they were still pretty heavy to me. Mom made some yummy pumpkin bread from them, but I'm really hoping she makes more pumpkin butter since we're all out!

Museum Fun

I've only been to one museum, but if they are all like the Children's Museum in Boston, then all museums are awesome!!! This museum had a huge train table, a bus I could drive, and a real Bobcat! All the activities are on 3 floors and we got to take a cool glass elevator up and down, with a great view of Boston and 2 bridges (great truck and bus viewing!!). There were also tons of cool things that mom called "interactive exhibits". Whatever, I got to play with golf balls and basketballs! Talk about a great way to spend an afternoon!!!

Cars, Cars Everywhere!!!

I love cars. There, I said it. I am actually obsessed with cars and the more I have, the happier I am! In fact, I can hold at least 5 cars in my hands at any given time. And some of my cars make great noises, but I do like to create my own soundtrack with assorted beeps and toots!

Getting Dizzy!

As many of you know, my sweet dance moves mostly consist of dancing in a circle. With a lot of practice, I've totally evolved that into all out spinning fun! It is soo much fun to just spin and get totally dizzy and then fall down! It kinda freaks out Emma a little bit, but I think she's just jealous.

Fall Breakfast

Mom has introduced me to my new favorite breakfast that I'll be enjoying throughout the upcoming fall and winter: steel cut oats. Mom made them a few weeks ago and I have loved it ever since. She makes it super yummy with butter, heavy cream and brown sugar and then gives me a banana on the side. Plus, she lets me sit in the big kid chair scooted right up to the table and I get to keep one car on the table with me. Nothing like having breakfast with a friend!

And I'd like to give a special shout-out to grandma Joyce on her 60th birthday today! Happy birthday, grandma!!!

Touch A Truck Day

This weekend, mom and dad took me to the greatest event ever: Touch A Truck Day. There were trucks everywhere!! Dump trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, back hoes, even lawn mowers! There were even official people there that helped you in and out of the trucks. I just loved hanging out and seeing all the cool trucks. They even let you beep the horn on the dump truck! Afterwards, there were balloons for all the kids and I even saw a couple of my friends. But it was really hot out so we went home and cooled off before we went to my friend, Quinn's, birthday party. Nothing like chips, cake and ice cream on a warm afternoon!

Apple Picking Fun!

Thanks to mom, I've discovered a new passion for fall: apple picking! Hanging out with friends, enjoying the warm autumn air and eating lots and lots of tasty apples. Nothing beats it! We've gone 3 times now and each time was with different friends. We did go to the same place twice but there was a good reason for it: bouncy house and pumpkins! I've never been in a bouncy house before and I was pretty nervous when I first went in. But I was lucky that my friend, Quinn, was there to show me how they work. I've never jumped so high before in my whole life! And the best part about this place is that they have a tractor disguised as a train that you ride on to get to the apples. So much fun to pretend you're on a train!
So what are we doing with all those apples that we picked? Eating them, of course! Emma even loves apples. Mom used some to make this delicious stuff called apple butter. Wow that stuff is good, even right out of the jar! Mom mentioned something about making an apple pie, but I really hope she makes more apple butter since we're running low!

Sharing With Friends

I love tomatoes. And I love my friends. But do I love sharing my tomatoes with my friends? You bet!! I was a bit hesitant at first, but Mom said that we have a ton of tomatoes in the backyard so there is plenty to share. So during snack time today, I decided to share some with my cool leopard that uncle Frank and aunt Jodie gave me when I was really little. He's kind of big so I haven't been able to play with him until I got bigger. And since I'm a giant now, he's just the right size. We had a great conversation while we ate and turns out he loves tomatoes just as much as I do. I can tell that we are going to be good friends for a very long time!
